****I am not exactly sure what to make of this diet or the creator of the BCD. That guy's qualifications for joining his yahoo group are somewhat strict.

The SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) is also considered to be an anti-biofilm diet.

my sisters kids are on a modifed scd diet for autism. (no lyme link yet known)

Yes, from what I understand, an anti-biofilm diet is often recommended to autistic children. Apparently, biofilms are another part of the autism puzzle.

And if you don't mind me asking...has eating an SCD diet helped your sister's children?
