hi daniel!
Tavanic is only the german brand name.
Levofloxacin
combo of bactrim and levo is very good for bart.
most docs don t like to prescribe <Rifampin

I am on Levaquin, its the most effective drug I've ever taken. I've been on it for two months so far.
But I am having side effects. Joint aches and headaches. Hard to tell what is a symptom and what is a side effect.
It cured my fibromyalgia/nerve pain, and really reduced my mood swings and anxiety. Now it seems Babesia if flaring up and causing the anxiety and mood swings all over again.
I'm about to stop Levaquin to move on to babesia treatment, even though I know bart will probably relapse if I stop this early in bart treatment.
Goodluck.

Levaquin and other quinolones are on my "no-go" list.
The quinolones cause me nerve pain to the max. I was so afraid it would become permanent.
Some quinos also affect my heart .. so I'm scared of them. Thankfully, I don't have bart!!
I hope you find something that works for you, Daniel!
