Are these related??? Makes sense to me if they are. I am feeling kinda depressed today (not suicidal), just tired of this crap. I felt pretty good yesterday so feeling like crap today is a stark contrast.

My legs hurt very badly today, my feet and my hips/butt. It's all muscle pain, used to get it cyclic, every 28 days (not related to menstral cycle). I just got it again today, after getting it 13 days ago and the pain stayed for 4 days. It's hard to walk up and down stairs. My brain hurts, I'm just tired.

I'm trying to drink a lot to flush stuff out, but I'm neither very thirsty nor hungry.

Thanks,

Ocean

Yes, depression and inflammation are closely tied to each other.

I accidentally cured my depression by taking larger doses of Turmeric and Ginger. My depression was due to low grade inflammation from Crohn's disease.

By trying to reduce inflammation from the disease I accidentally cured 30 years of depression. Quite a surprise.

Good for you for 'accidently' finding the cure for your depression!

Ocean, yes I have issues like this too. The more inflamed I feel with a swollen neck/joints/muscle tightness, the wors I feel. I get so sick of it and just think to myself why bother. [Frown] I hope you feel better soon. I thought the cold laser was doing wonders for you.

Hi Seek,

thanks...so sorry you've dealt with the same thing...it's frustrating! I was doing better with the laser until last Thursday when the settings were changed to the 'Tertiary'. I have no idea what this one is doing to me, but ugh!!! Feeling terrible!! I am hoping it's doing good and I'm just herxing, been waking up the past few days (like now, it's 2:52 am) feeling very afraid, legs still hurt a lot, feel foggy, ect.

I am supposed to do another treatment today, but think I am going to skip it...I've rifed once and herxed, so I want to try it again next week once this current herx is over.

Take care,
Ocean

Ocean,

A couple opportunistic infections to watch for with lyme would be Candida and Mercury Toxicity.

Mercury can easily build up when your immune system is suppressed for a period of time and can cause a lot of horrible mental symptoms.

Candida can also develop when your immune system is weak and this can leave you feeling depressed. It is very treatable with natural anti-fungal.

Hang in there and make sure you are dealing with a recommended lyme specialist.

Good Luck, Bob

I used fresh Ginger and just ate a hunk of it, and used Turmeric capsules.

Later I just used capsules of both. When I was trying to control a Crohn's flare I took 1500 mg of each twice a day. This helped the flare somewhat but totally eliminated my depression.

An accidental cure. There may be more than one cause of depression, but if you have an inflammatory disease, there is a good chance that is causing it.

depression and allergies almost always go together . Allergies are also related to inflammation.

Hiya Seek! I am doing a zillion times better than I was for sure...I have flare ups, but when I do, I hit the colloidal silver, laser and start swearing off sugar, getting enough sleep etc...have to keep the ole immune system in check! I got some emails that this thread was re-opened, so naturally I had to come and check! I am grateful to be doing well. Working full time in oncology nursing and raising my 3 kids as a single momma...no way no how could I have done this 3 years ago! I'll try and check back more often...sorry you are still battling this thing [Frown]

Ocean, I feel your pain and your frustration! Ginger & Tumeric, along with some quality Omega fish oils have been a must for me for the inflammation. I've also added the herbs Ashwagandha and Rhodiola to my supplement routine with some positive results - I've had less depression moments & increased energy.
