I know I'm being a big sissy about this but I really hate needles.
Where does it hurt the least? In the stomach or in the thigh?

Needles themselves are painless . For b12 you can use tiny short needles (27g) to do subc. B12 itself kinda stings, I think it stings less when you actually do it IM with 1 inch needle in top of the tight

make sure you do it where there is enough fat. i was recently hospitalized and they had to stop giving me subq morphine shots because i lost too much weight. i do b12 in my butt. Posted by CherylSue (Member # 13077) on :
I do it in the hip. Sometimes it hurts, and I have to try another area. Rotate places.
After a year or so, they no longer made me feel good, but worse. I quit them and am doing okay.
