I am in pain 24/7 but everytime I take Advil, I feel better the entire next day. I can do things like cook, etc. I usually cannot do these things normally. Most of the time, I can barely walk. The only bad thing is that I cannot take Advil everyday because it tears up my stomach pretty bad and I've already had ulcers.
What is it about the Advil that helps me function? Could it be inflammation causing all this pain I have?
Don't get me wrong, I still can't do some things and I still hurt a little but not nearly as bad when I take the Advil.
Another bad thing about the Advil is that it makes me sweat really bad. I am drenched in sweat when I take it and I also feel weak.
I am so scared to get on anything since my liver episode. I'm also scared to take those new medicines because there are so many side effects. I'm almost better off in pain.
Anyway, does anyone know of anything natural I can take for inflammation and pain? I know white willow bark is for that but it upsets my stomach and makes me dizzy when I take it.

There are foods that help with inflammation...green tea, I think peppers and garlic, tomatoes (Don't quote me on these, as it has been awhile since I researched this)
My non-LLMD feels that the issues from treated Lyme are often due to inflammation. I had the same kind of thing (sweating after taking Ibuprofen). I am feeling begtter all the time and I have been on NO meds for months now....just eating foods that are healthy, and getting more sleep. So I am hoping that I am just dealing with inflammation by now.

Ping,
Thank you for bumping my post back up.
Sick Tick,
The weird thing about all of this is that I've never had real Lyme treatment yet. Well, at least not long enough to do anything. This is making me wonder if it's not something else.
I still feel pretty decent today but my bad days are really bad.If only it could just magically go away. I wouldn't ask anyquestions. I'd just live my life, to the fullest.
P.S.- I do have herx reactions when i'm on antibiotics so this all has got me stumped!

Thanks Lymetoo. This is my second day feeling better and my fingers haven't bern swollen for those two days either. The only bad thing is that my stomach is acting up and I feel like I may have an ulcer again. It's been bloating really bad.
