My doctor, after giving me a 20-minute lecture about how he didn't believe in Lyme, sent me a LETTER, stating that he had consulted with the Allegheny County Health Dept, and was told that there have been NO confirmed cases of Lyme in Allegheny County.

I KNOW people who have or have had Lyme here--but they were all diagnosed by LLMD's OUT of Allegheny County.

I was wondering if anyone could point me to some data showing that there are Lyme-carrying deer ticks in either Allegheny County or Southern Butler County, Pennsylvania?

I talked with an entomologist a couple of years ago, who told me that Pittsburgh IS a Lyme-endemic area. But I can't remember his name, let alone how to find him or where he works.

And that REALLY blows me away... saying HIS county has no Lyme when the most reported cases AGAIN, so far this year.. are in PA.

Your county figures are probably lower than most because of IDIOTS like him that are saying there is no Lyme there and therefore, they are not checking for it.

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

He has had 30 years to learn about it... what a BIG TOAD he is... and look at the lives he is ruining!

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

Bless the children and the adults too if that is the kind of medical "experts" there.

OK. NOW I'm mad!

Ask duck head if he thinks the water supply in PA, with its free antibiotics and other drugs, is helping to cure Lyme? If so, you may go to one of the free outlets to get your meds.

I don't know--I got this letter from him out of the blue, so he is obviously thinking about it. Seems to me he could have just given me the scrip for the antibiotic, and not followed up with the letter--he knows I only come in to the office for something REALLY bad, and he knows I am anti-antibiotic.

The whole thing seems very, very strange to me.
