How do you all do it?

I've been reading more and more about lyme and co-infections and what you all are dealing with is downright scary. 2 years of abx alone would be enough to send me over the edge, but add into that doctors, staff, insurance companies, the gov't and families that don't even believe it exists and it's a recipe for anyone with this disease to go ballistic.

I'm still not sure if I have been living with Lyme for decades, but the more I read, the more I'm sure I want NOT to have it.

I still have a lot more reading to do, many of the threads and articles I'm finding are far too complex to grasp beyond the first paragraph or so. I'm a software developer, not a nurse, so reading much of the medical terminology is like pushing me off a cliff while holding needle & thread, material and a book on how to sew a parachute.

Any simple suggestions on how to get through the info without the confusion would be appreciated.

You all amaze me in how much you know and your determination. Keep up the fight!

My suggestion is that you can't learn it all in a week a month or even a year. You kind of just learn as you go. I have been in treatment for a year and a half and still have a lot to learn.

Finding a good Lyme doc that you trust is a good start.
