Hi,
I am wondering if any stores sell Theralac or if you have to buy it online. Also, it looks like they are $30-$40 a bottle. Are you supposed to take one or two tablets every day?
Thanks so much for your help!

The Theralac I take is a powder. It reminds me of the pixie stix if you know what I'm talking about. The powder stuff in straws we used to eat as a kid.

I get mine from a lady and it's $43 for 60 packets. I just ordered 2 boxes this morning. I used to get it from ebay but it was more.

I only have to take one packet a day so a box lasts me 2 months.

I used to pay $48 on ebay. I'm checking with her to see if I can give her email address to you.

If anyone knows any place cheaper I would like to know, too. This is the cheapest I have found.

There are 2 different products.

One is called Theralac - sold only at www.theralac.com
If you buy it in bulk, they will give you a slight discount.

And the other is called Threelac. Threelac is the powder that comes in a pixie stick and is quite different from Theralac.

I took Theralac for a year - one a day. I ended up switching back to my old probiotic (IFlora). My stomach was just better on the old.

However, for me it was less expensive to use Theralac because I only took 1 a day vs the 9 a day I need from just about every other probiotic.

Sorry I just realized I take Threelac and you are talking about Theralac. I have never taken it and it is a pill.

I will just blame it on lyme brain. LOL So sorry. I used to have yeast problems all the time though before I started using the Threelac and since then no problems.

Maybe someone else will come along that actually knows something. LOL

no problem, I appreciate you taking the time to help me. I guess it is not horrible for $40 a month as long as he has to take just 1 a day.

Right.. $40 a month isn't so bad .. and the stuff really works.

I found Theralac one time at another website... it was "apple" something...

I'll see if I can find it for you.. it was about $8 cheaper than at www.theralac. com

Thank you so much. He had stomach problems the last time he was taking antibiotics because he wasn't taking a "strong enough" probiotic, so I want to be sure he is protected this time.

I use webvitamins.com. The cost is 39.95 for 30 capsules and my LLMD has me take 2 per day. One in the A.M. and one in the P.M. Make sure to wait at least 2 hours between taking your antibiotics. Also I take Metagenics Ultra Flora which you can get at the same web site. This is part of Dr. H protocol so its a good one. Good luck

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I am wondering if he needs to take 2 per day or if 1 is sufficient. We can handle $40 for the month, but $80 is getting high. What do you think?!
Thanks alot

www.froogle.com

Type in the product you want and it will list the best competing prices of the product (usually)

http://www.google.com/products?q=theralac&aq=f

Looks like amazon has it for 33$.

I am OCD about paying the least for most things I buy, since I spend a small fortune each month.

Good luck

Derek
