Okay, so I woke up this morning and thought I need to get my S@#$ together... I got dressed and decided I would go for a walk/jog. Exercise has been a thing of the past for the last 9 months or so. But my dr said it may help with energy and also the joint and muscle pain.
Well started out as a walk... then a fast paced walk... then got brave and began jogging. At first my knees were hurting, but as I kept going it got better. I ran maybe a half a mile and then walked the rest of the way home.
OH my! By the time I got home my legs felt like lead and I was so lightheaded and dizzy. I laid down for a few then took a hot epson salt bath. Again when I got out of the tub I felt dizzy and weak and heavy. Drank some water and then out of nowhere got a tummy ache and diahreaa.
It's been about an hour now and strangely I feel good. Mentally I feel better. My body still feels tired, but I am thinking it's just cause I haven't exercised in months!
I'm wondering if exercise like this can be detoxifying in some way? I'm wondering if I should continue or stop. I know Dr. B doesn't recommend Cardio/aerobic exercise, but is a little ok if I can tolerate it? It seems to me it would be good for the immune system and mental health.
Thanks.

Of course exercise is a detox. It also has bacteria-killing abilities.
Exercise does soooooo many GREAT things for your body it's crazy.
Dr B recommends anaerobic exercise to preserve T-Cells.

Good for you, kareamber. Some walking is ok, but also do other non-aerobic exercises. I think exercise had made a huge difference for me.

definitely! Try an elliptical! I think running makes a person dizzy, since it moves the lymph.

I have been using an eliptical trainer for 2 months---started @ 10 minutes & add 1 minute every other session.
Now @ 21 minutes & afterwards (for several hours) feel better than i have in 4 years.
