I'm looking into buying one of these units from ebay. Many have suggested this as a great detox method.

Just curious if anyone has had symptom relief from things like brain fog, dizziness, headaches, or even anxiety.

I know your head is out of these units, but if the toxins are coming out, I would think it would help all around.

I will have to go slow as I have the Postural Tachycardia but not the Orthostatic BP changes.

I am going to bump this as I have been wondering the exact same thing myself. I was thinking of an outdoor one as an xmas present for me and whoever wants to use it.

I also have postural tachycardia without blood pressure changes. My blood pressure was actually high for a while. I do take salt and lemon with my water, and my blood pressure stays the same, and my heart rate decreases. Strange, huh? You can still have blood volume problems without low bloood pressure as your body has compensatory mechanisms (such as vasopressin).

I have had a sauna for about 3 and up until just recently I had only used it once when we first got it.

I have POTS and I didn't tolerate my first time very well. I was scared to try again but I am much better now than I was then.

I don't know the answer to your question but from my experience it does clear my head some. I always feel so much better after the sauna.

Some days right now though I'm too sick to even think about getting in as I'm having lots of nausea for some unknown reason. I really miss it when I can't use it.

I have to say this though that it's one of the best things I'm doing right now. It makes a huge difference in how I feel. It helps with my pain, too.

If my POTS hadn't gotten better though I know I couldn't use it. Just take it very slow till you see how you will do.

Hi Lymetwister,

I was wondering the same thing. Please PM me and let me know how it goes as I would like to maybe try it as well.

I saw my LLMD yesterday and asked him and he said that the infared kind would be ok.

Just curious how well those "cheaper" portable models on ebay would work.

God bless,
Karen [Cool]
