Oh yea, and many chronic lymies only have IgM positivity......Great way to eliminate the ONLY laboratory indication of infection for these folks. Brilliant! [Mad]

You will never convince me that any group of us will test 100% positive. My brain doesn't work real well, but I believe that is what the article is saying in stage 3 lyme. Not possible.

They are literally morons. This is just another way to further limit patients from testing positive.

They further restrict the testing , eliminating IgM bands. I bet because people with late lyme have it positive in IgM range even on quest labs sometimes. This is prep work for further restrictions

Its not possible for me to make an assessment, without knowing more specifics of the methods.

What were the total number of lyme patients? How many controls? Did all their lyme patients present with a rash?

Anyone have this information?

On thing that is interesting about this is they are admitting that the IgM test is not reliable.

I'm with Coltman. They either are succeeding to the

fact they have lost and decided to get in where the

getting is good, or as Amanda says holding on to

all the cards till the bitter end...Either way they

have lost respect.
