After two years in treatment and miles better than when I started, I'm scared that I am out of options.

I treated bart with rifampin and bactrim and got 100% well. Stayed that way for three months while on the meds. Within three weeks of stopping, my bart symptoms came back, along with a case of c difficle.

My worst symptoms are heart issues and lung and breathing problems. I'm on a treatment now that LLMD thinks is not working. He thinks I have a BLO and there is no known effective treatment for it. I'm afraid if I stop treatment, it will kill me.

With the C diff, my choice for abx are very limited. I'm up against a wall here. I;m so clsoe but have so much working against me how can I get better with these problems?

To top it off, my son's birthday is coming up and we need to get him tested. I don't know if I can handle him having these diseases knowing what they have done to my life.

I'm getting very depressed about it and need some support.

I hate to push a certain treatment on anyone, but have you considered a rife machine? I was at a crossroads with treatment options myself a while back for different reasons and turned to Rife as a sole means of treatment.

It's made a world of difference in my health and my life. If that's too far out then maybe you could try an herbal protocal until your gut heals enough to go back on abx.

Whichever path you choose I wish you the best. Keep your head up and know that you will find a way and you will get better!

thanks, lymielauren. I have a rife machine and used it a few times but I never herxed or had any reaction at all. And I increased the times to many minutes.

Hi.. We started a rife support thread. Maybe you can come over and reiview it. We are all learning and I am trying to figure out the best ways to use it and how best to treat.

I had a friend how was treating and treating and she did not respond at all.

Then she kept trying differnent lyme programs and one day she hit one that made her herx horribly and she worked on that one.

So i think it s matter of finding the right frequencies for you..

It takes rime the longer you were infected the longer the treatment.

Blinkie, sorry it didn't work out for you. It's amazing how different we all are when it comes to treatments. I would look into some different herbal protocals and maybe try that route. It would at least keep your infections stable until you're str9ong enough to handle abx again.

Did your Dr. suggest Factive?

I was also on Rifampin (and zith) and after 5 months my neuro symptoms cleared. I am going to finish off with factive.

I have also started taking Bicillin shots because of stomach issues and they work great! Ever consider that?

I was looking into factive on my own but anything I take would have to be taken with rifampin flagyl or vancomycin for the c diff. I can do bicillin injections but that won't cure BLO.

I've done reifampin and zith in the past.
