If MMS is the same as dioxychlor then yes, I did use it in Mexico. It seemed to help a lot.

Yes.. Would you mind sharing the protocl and dosing etc? You can PM if you like.>

Thank so much.

MMS almost killed me. On day 8 of the oral tx I developed ideopathic thrombocytopenia- a severe drop in platelets to the point where they were concerned I would bleed out. I was hospitalized and transfused with human globulin (WinRho) as well as put on high doses of steriods- not fun, but even my LLMD said I HAD to.

Be careful.

Sorry if you've seen my story on MMS before, but I consider it my duty to raise the ITP issue whenever I see MMS mentioned.

The signs of ITP were bursting blood vessels all over my extremities and severe bruising- which is just going away now from the episode in August.

Please do bring up any adverse reaction to any treatment. It is important to keep the facts out there.

I have also used MMS without any problems, but not all people react the same way to a treatment. I do not have Lyme either.

I consider it an experimental treatment, with some risk, to some people. I do not think it is 100% safe for everyone. You do have to be careful and stop at any sign of unexpected reactions. Most people do not have adverse reactions, but some do.

MMS is an oxidizer, and other oxidation treatments used intravenously, such as Peroxide, do not seem to have a good track record with Lyme for some reason.

I also think damage to the circulatory system is possible when using an oxidizer direct into the bloodstream.

I am not trying to discourage this use, but I think it is important to know some of the possible risks involved.

I find MMS useful for some situations, but I do not take it without a good reason either.

MMS and Dioxychlor are NOT the same thing; related, yes, but not the same. MMS is MANY times stronger (like 21 times, if my memory serves me well).

MMS is not a necessarily benign tx! Yes, some people have had good results, but many also have had disastrous results of varying intensities. I would be very wary about IV MMS. It's bleach, you know. It is probably extremely caustic to the veins. People have had their veins stripped permanently from IV ozone, which is also very caustic, so beware.

I"m not saying that everyone would get bad results, but watch out. BTW, I'm not against IV ozone and peroxide; I've had it myself, and the results can be good. But you have to be aware of the possible intense side-effects, which sometimes are permanent (in the case of stripped veins).

I wouldnt do it unless it were one of the last possible things that might get me well.

We are all so sick that I understand this pursuit of wellness.

I remember when I first began my journey I found every possible treatment option on the planet including ozone, MMS, and the like and had little regard for "if" they could "possibly" harm me, I just wanted to be better.

Three years later and 2 relapses later, I have come to realize that it's the long term level-headed approach that is what will win this struggle.

Best

Jim Humble Home Page

Go to Number 12 on the right hand side and he gives step by step how to do the IV treatments.

I would think from what he says it is safe. But I also know there are side affects some have from MMS that others do not..

You for sure have to watch out and be careful..

I am curious about this and am also researching things all the time for my mother who has cancer. I find a lot of cross over with alternative medicine for cancer that is for lyme as well..

She has tried MMS orally but can not tolerate that smell / taste . This might be an idea for her. She has a picc line as well..

Also for Lyme Patients.. It might work out..

There is also information on how to use it via

Enemas

Baths

Dmso addition

Breath in sinus area

and others on that site.. Ways to take it other than drinking it. It can really be difficult to tolerate if your drinking it. It is so strong smelling and tasting.

I think the ideas are good alternative solutions.

I also read that it disapates from your body in about 2 hours no matter what dose you take. So they are recommending more frequent doses using smaller doses. Like every hour or two?

Wow thats a lot of work Huh? Continually.

It might be a good think to try it for like a week. And see how it goes.

Just an Idea. I do not have experience with this substance y

What DID happen to the previous post on MMS? I know I replied, but cannot find it either.

What my reply did say was that MMS is dangerous- not a substance meant for ingestion.

See http://www.lymeneteurope.org/forum/ and do a search for "miracle mineral supplement" and you will see research on the topic.

Be careful.

It's really strong stuff. It made me ill so I stopped it. I think it may be best to do it in very low doses. Jim Humble changed the protocol to do it in lower doses than what was originally suggested.

I wouldn't do it as an IV. It's too intense. I wouldn't rule it out but I just don't know enough about it. It's hard when you read about lots of people being cured in Africa... It's kind of hard to substantiate it or if it will work for you.

Transdermally is another way of doing it as well..

It's a very harsh "drug", but with that said it works very well as a detoxifier. As someone who is sick from toxins I've found myself addicted. Why else would I drink this horrible stuff?

Just to repeat what has been stated. Smaller doses over time. Transdermal application with DMSO and sinus irrigation (i use 6 activated drops) works very well. I had to stop transdermal for a bit as a rash started appearing.

Have not tried IV, and really have no desire to try, as I can get more than enough through other means.

best of luck

I used it for about 8 to 9 months orally, about 6 drops twice a day. I stopped activating after about 4 months. It is very powerful disinfectant. If I had to do it over again. I would take care of my mouth first. Then 6 weeks on MMS / colloidal silver / zeolite and binders as well as supporting supplements. Then start using an LED / rife / herbs and homeopathy.

Across the board : a good ionic air purifier and good water and diet -- lots of sun and as much exercise as I could tolerate.

Find a good coach in case I needed one (llnd, llmd, alternative practioner).
