I messed up when giving my result of 24. The 24 stood for 24 hours of urine collection.

I just got this breakdown and don't understand it as there is no mention of Krytopyroles. Here is the results. Can someone make sense of this for me. There is no refernce range on some of these. My Dr. ordered it so I don't know the Labcorp test code.

Hi Gary,

I take Depyrrol (you can Google, I order it from the Netherlands) and Oil of Evening Primrose. I don't have someone to direct me on this treatment, though I do have a doctor who knows I take this stuff.

I had to add 3 mg (mcg???) of copper, too, after I had been on the zinc for a while. I've read it's a 1/10 ratio needed of copper to zinc. The Depyrrol is 30 mg elemental zinc even though it's 210 mg of the type of zinc it has.

I've also added Taurine because I was still having short-term memory issues (which are now gone), and Biotin.

In a recent talk by Dr. K he said 80% of those with white spots have pyroluria. Only 30% of those with pyroluria have white spots, so it's not necessary to have them to have the condition, but if you do have them, it's likely you have the condition.

Take it easy starting on it, it's a rough protocol. Have all your binders and detox agents on hand. I never even knew I had anxiety until it went away on this protocol.

Good luck with it! I'm so glad you've gotten another answer to your health problems!

Gary, can you let me know the LabCorp test code for this one? I wish I would've known a few days ago. It's not on their website under Provider Test Menu.

You're so close to the super famous Dr. S. Did you ever consider him?

I'm not aware of a test for this through LabCorp. Either it's new or not representing the same compound that Dr. K is looking at with this condition. I'm not seeing it on their web site either. Are you sure it was LabCorp?

I don't believe that I've heard Dr. K suggest that 80% of people with white spots have KPU, but that 80% of people with chronic Lyme disease may have KPU.

The protocol should be followed by a doctor as some people crash on it and become very toxic with heavy metals. That happened with me and I had to focus on detoxification very heavily.

If you consider doing KPU, and wish to avoid tough times, possibly really rough times, at least take the test of Allergie Immun and get an understanding of your dysregulations. before you start KPU. That test is reasonably priced and if you find you have all the dysregulations as everyone who has taken the test now, you can clear these first and do that therapy for a little while. KPU will be easy then.

Detoxing heavy metals while you are allergic to them is a tough job and much of the metals will still be hanging around in your system. Detoxing heavy metals is not possible with major food allergies, because the leaky gut caused by especially the wheat/gluten/soy problems will not start to heal until you clear the dysregulations/allergies to these foods. It also lets you clear the hundreds of chemical dysregulations that so far all with Lyme have been living with.

Feel free to ignore this. But I don't like seeing people suffer when it can be avoided. And without allergies toward the major toxic metals (which is the reason they are hanging on), metal detox becomes a breeze and healing enhanced. It is best to find a practitioner to guide you through this, unless you can do your own energetic testing.

Take care.

P.S. I agree with Scott, make sure you take the test that is recommended by the doctors involved in this treatment here in the US and Europe. Dr. K. has worked with it for considerable time and has developed/designed, after many trials, the CORE, a capsule containing mineral ingredients besides the zinc, etc. which most patients with kryptopyluria are lacking. It is considerably different from the Depyrol from Europe. More info on KPU-HPU here www.hputest.nl

For someone in Baltimore, possibly contact [email protected]. She taught ART at a clinic in Baltimore for several months and I am sure these people are aware of KPU.

During his "Thrive" talk, he says it. He says that if you find someone has white spots, "You've hit the jackpot" since it's most likely a KPU problem.

He also says 80% of people with Lyme have it .... so the two 80%'s together must be the "jackpot."

I'm sure you have the video, let me know if you don't .... or you can look in the boxes on my Facebook page.

Gary,

The test that you had performed is a urinary porphyrin test. The pyroluria test is a different test.

Dr. K recommends the lab "Vitamin Diagnostics" for pyroluria testing. Call them and they will send you a testing kit. I believe your doctor has to sign the test requisition though. Their telephone number is (732) 721-1234

You can also order the test without a doctor from the Bio-Center Lab. Their telephone number is (316) 684-7784

http://biocenterlab.org/tests/urine/pyrroles.shtml

You can also order the pyroluria test through Direct Health Care Access II Laboratory at www.pyroluriatesting.com or by calling (847)222-9546.

That place also offers over the phone clinical consultation. So, if you do not have a practitioner to authorize the test order and receive the results, you can order a clinical consultation on a per patient, per encounter basis that can be added to any test(s) you order. An MD provides the required authorization to the laboratory for ordering the testing and provides a telephone clinical consultation to you.

******Also Dr. S in Maryland treats patients for pyroluria and Lyme Disease but I am not sure if he is taking any new patients.
