should i buy his MACHINE and forget about going to the llmd, or should i go to the llmd, and then later invest in the rife,

i really really really DON'T want any more antibiotics in my system,

i was so happy to talk with this rife man that it gave me a false sense of joy

he has a list of people in front of me, so i will be paying him partial payments.

im very excited meeting him and talking with him, i was trying to steal him away from his wife, just kidding...he's a sweet old guy too.

but what should i do should i ditch my appt. with the llmd, and invest right now in the rife, or

just go to the llmd, and spend money to find out what other band of lyme i have, and i still dont want any more antibiotics.

thoughts anyone. long post....
maybe they can give something for sleep only.

It's your decision, but I'd never ever elect rife first over a solid Abx treatment from a quality LLMD. You're LIFE is on the line probably.

Regardless, treatment is hell. I don't think it's easy to get around this at first unless you have the best doc in the world (Dr. K in WA) on your side.

Go to you LLMD and talk to him and listen to him. After that you will have some information to help you make a decision about what you want to do. Definitely keep your LLMD appointment.

That's my suggestion since you asked.

I would definitely want to know exactly what pathogens I was dealing with. You might need antibiotics in the beginning and then later switch to alternatives.

I wouldn't count on any one approach to be the cure-all. Just my opinion and my own experience.

people that responded to my post i appreiate your opionin, but i gather none of you have a rife,

i understand going to the llmd to get the bigger picture is in order,

but antibiotics keeps me sick, and it surpresses the immune sysrems, that will give me more bugs.

i hate all antibiotics, and dont let us forget YEAST, which i alredy have from the doxy, the dulfan didnt help my tongue, doxy has my tongue white. brrrrr

I'm keeping Rife as an option in my back pocket. One advantage of seeing the LLMD is you'll learn exactly what bacteria, viruses, yeast, etc., you need to get rid of. As far as I understand, Rife uses specific frequencies to address each kind of bacteria or virus. (I could be wrong on this.)

As for antibiotics, I would urge you to use them if your doctor thinks it's wise.

Not all abx are as brutal as doxy (I'm on doxy right now and I don't really care for it, but it's helping).

I've tried a number of antibiotics that address various forms of the bacteria (spirochete, CWD form, cyst).

Some were so horrible I had to stop after a few days. Others were bad but tolerable. And others were very little problem for me at all.

It takes experimentation to figure out what will work for and be tolerated by each individual. The assistance of a good doctor can help you find what works for you.

You really need to still go to the LLMD and also get the rife machine.

Once I asked our LLMD about rifing he was totally on board. He could not recommend it to us but once we inquired he gave us his honest opinion.

One of the TOP LLMDs in the country also recommends rifing as part of the whole treatment plan.

I am sure you probably talked with the same gentlemen that we have ordered our rife machine from.

There is about a month wait..so we are due for ours very soon.

I know many people who it has helped tremendously.

In fact, I just found out that my LLMD owns one.

Good luck but defintely go the LLMD.

Rife will not cure Lyme, at least not often enough to matter, and Lyme comes with multiple problems and pathogens.

If frequency treatments cure my wife, I will give detailed instructions on how we accomplished it. That still leaves a lot of co-infections that may have to be treated with other methods.

Frequency treatments can bring you to back to normal, but I have not been able to cure it yet. I am confident that it can be done, but that is not the same as having accomplished a cure.

See the LLMD and take the advice that makes sense to you. I only take about 20% of medical advice that I am given, but I still want to hear what they have to say.

LLMDs can test you for various infections and also the rest of your blood chemistry. They can do antibiotics but also do complementary med care with supplements, etc.

I'd suggest you keep the appointment - you have so many questions regarding what you're dealing with!

street, I believe you might need to be under the care of a LLMD for sometime. Keep your appt.

Yes, see the LLMD!

What kind of rife machine is it? Is it made by the guy who doesn't make any money on it? If so, it's a good machine, and you can't beat the price.

But still, see the dr. No one thing will make you well, unfortunately.

i don't understand when you say this rife guy gave you a false sense of joy???

i've been on abx now 9 mos. had some improvement but want to do more.

i am waiting for my DCoil as i have had 3 treatments w/one and herxed badly every time.

however i have a wonderful LLMD and am sticking closely to his protocol

i believe you should give it a try but definitely see a LLMD. Do your research before you spend a bucket of money and don't act on false or momentary whims.

you've got a long road ahead of you

all the best jola

Guys, 400-500 dollars isn't much money. Compare that to the costs spent on travel accommodations, appointment costs, supplements, medications that aren't covered.

Rife machines can be sold for as much as was paid when first purchased usually.

All that aside, see the LLMD (as long as you have confirmed that he/she is very good via other patients here).

I have a rife. I've been using it for 3 1/2 years. It is not a scam. It is also not a cure-all anymore than abx or other modalities are for chronic lyme.

Personally, I would go to the LLMD for evaluation. Then decide how to proceed. I use rife, abx and other methods to heal lyme.

This is another misnomer that gets spread around through the rumor mill. I paid a lot of money for my machine and tried to sell it a number of times over the last 4 years for half price and couldn't. There were a few people that were interested, but they all wanted to know if I was cured by rife. I didn't want to lie to any one, so I never could get anyone to actually buy it.

I also find it odd that most of the people on this site that say that rife works are advising this person to stay with the LLMD and continue with his protocol.

I don't know, folks. This person has pm'ed with me a little. This person is not from this country, English may not be the person's first language, and this person is sick. So don't be so sure on judgement at this point. Thx.

I had my phone appointment with my LLMD yesterday and asked him about rife machines. He said that a lot of people have been helped by them as long as they use the correct frequencies. If they use the wrong frequencies they are hindered.

I am wondering whether Dan has used the Doug coil in his pursuit to help his wife.

I think he has, Sheryl.

Porsche.. while I believe that Rife machines work, I would still recommend abx in the beginning. That's just me. I would not use it as a first line of defense .. and I didn't do that myself. I used it to STAY off abx.

Rife or LLMD? I don't think it's an either/or question.

I recently saw my LLMD and told him I was interested in rifing. He basically told me that he sees rifing as one tool in the toolkit, and not the only tool.

Does your LLMD use only antibiotics? Or does your LLMD help you with other possibilities to complement your treatment, such as herbal or other protocols, supplements, detoxification, nutrition, etc.?

My LLMD seemed to know a good amount about treating with a rife machine, that could help me if I do start. I need all the support I can get! Have you discussed rife with your LLMD?

Best wishes.

Don't know whether you are asking me but my LLMD uses homeopathics, Byron White drops, brain pills, Wilson thyroid treatment, DHEA and more - but antibiotics are the mainstay.

I mentioned that I was interested in an EMEM machine but he didn't respond and so I dropped it. I'd like to have found out more of his thought on it. Please let us know what your LLMD has to day about rife machines and treatment.

I use a rife machine but also see an LLMD. I think you need both.

I use rife and I recommend seeing an LLMD- not because rife doesn't work but for the following reasons:

1) to get an expert opinion on what bacteria/viruses/protozoa, etc you have so you can select frequencies accordingly

2) to do some antibiotics or herbs to kill off some bacteria under the supervision of an LLMD so the herx doesn't damage you

After doing some courses of antibiotics I weaned to rife. Just my opinion, of course, not medical advice.
