im going shopping tomorrow what is the best magnesium out there, i have citrate,

im down to my last 7 pills

i want the best mag.

anyone kown of good magnesium..

I like magnesium malate. I also like capsules. My daughter took a mag malate I bought in tablets, got sick many hours later and the tablet was still intact. That could be because her stomach was messed up, but still, I would think it would have looked at least a little different than it did 7 hours earlier.

My LLMD said Carlson Labs Mg Glycinate. THE Dr. B said Mg Chloride - aka MagTab-SR sold at most Wal-Mart stores. Ping says transdermal Mg oil.

It may be worth trying the man's recommendation first. [Smile] It's relatively cheap.

My doc says Mag citrate.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion.

Magnesium glycinate is the most absorbable.

KAL brand is a good one.

I've tried every Magnesium compound there is and the Glycinate is by far the easiest to take: you can take a lot before your bowels get bad.
