I know many who have immune disease also have this. So I am posting.

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/health/irishman-hits-on-cure-for-psoriasis-13501780.html

A Sligo man became an amateur scientist in his desperate search for a cure for the skin

condition which was slowly destroying his life.

Four years ago, a friend suggested that he try Argan oil, extracted from the nut of a tree found

in Morocco and used widely in cosmetics. Within hours of application, the itch which had troubled

him for 14 years had stopped.

Interesting.

Wanted to add that I drank oxygenated water many years ago and the psoriasis on the tips of my ears, elbows and knees cleared up in a week.

So, pointing to psoriasis as another oxygen-deficient symptom.

Interesting.

Curious link too about what it contains (what is does NOT contain) and how it works:

That's awesome!

Does not contain alpha linolenic acid. This

essential fatty acid is as important as the others

and must be part of the diet. Argan oil cannot be

the only oil in your kitchen. It is important to

rely on rape seed and soybean oil for this acid.

I thought it was neat in the fact one person can

make a difference. Now I have learned something

else too. Thanks Marnie- I walked on by.

Interesting. But.....

If we listen to the old homeopaths, psoriasis (and most skin disorders) will never be 'cured' from the outside (topical treatment).

The symptoms may go away, but what really happens is that the 'disease state' is suppressed into the body and will later manifest itself as something worse. The most typical mainifestation is asthma.

Apparently, manifestations on the skin are the body's way of attempting to expel something going on inside - a deeper problem.

Just thought you might find that interesting.

Tracy, my doc says my skin eruptions are most likely starting from my GI track. That's where some of my friends(not) like to hangout/survive.

I've not had any skin breakouts since I started rifampin about three weeks ago. I believe bart is busy these days fighting the abx.

This is a test, so time will tell.

I always thought this was gut problem or lack or malaborspition of healthy fats and oils. So unless you eat the oil, how can it help?

Robin, which oxeygon water did you use?

Tracy I believe you are right. Some even choose to

go steps further-Asthma, Autism, Diabetes etc. I

sure hope it helps the itch for now.

Interesting about oil assimilation, Hobo.

Perhaps if a very 'natural' form of this product is found to be successful for the discomfort of psoriasis, it will not actually suppress the disease itself.

I certainly hope so. [Smile]
