TWhat are the symptoms of c diff? I've been having bouts of really bad diarrhea that comes and goes. I was on ceftin for 3 months with no issues at all. Then I started my amox, zith, and flagyl and keep getting it. I'll have it for a day or two then it'll go away for a few days or weeks and comeback. I had one watery bm two days ago that literally came out without warning and looked like greenish mucous. Nothing yesterday bt today I've had two or three water diarrhea. Its darkish brown/green. Not much cramping and no fever. Should I be worried? Sorry if it was too much info!

yep, start getting concerned.
go buy that florastor and take it twice a day. it's cheapest at drugstore.com.
you're tests don't have to be positive, mine wasn't but the doc started treatment with flagyl anyway.

my doc said 500 three times a day and florastor twice a day.
the flagyl really does taste terrible, but tough it out. it takes about 3-4 days before the diahhrea will stop.
oh yeah, he said take the flagyl for 7-10 days.

So should I stop my other abx? I don't mind the taste of flagyl...maybe I'm just getting used to it. I already take it 3 days a week but will maybe try it for lower and see if it helps.
