My mother and my cousin both died of ALS. Mom had so many of my symptoms and I often wonder if she had untreated longterm lyme disease. She and my cousin both lived in areas where it is prevalent.
It is an excellent article on lyme disease and even mentions the change in guidelines and Kaiser's backward attitude.

Again, HOW could the IDSA doc from Kaiser says they still believe they're right? Are those docs this corrupt?
I'M SO D##N SICK OF HEARING THIS. Abx could have side effects? SO CAN DYING.

It almost seems like some of these ducks would prefer that patients just go home and die like they said in article.
They would rather label people with ALS, lupus, MS, anything but finding the cause of the onset of sx??????????
One of these days, the world is going to hear the truth!!!

Thank you for sharing this great article! I wish this man and his wife all the best for his continued recovery.
Though there is still some wrong info in it, it shows a much greater understanding for Lyme than usual. This journalist deserves mighty praise for their work.
I hope it is the sign of a general trend towards better country-wide education on this disease!
