Had the usual discussions of this is better, that is still the same, but seem to be making progress.
He was impressed that I walked up 2 lighthouses on our vacation.
He wants to try dropping me off the Rifampin, but stay on the Doxy.
He told me that "theoretically" I've treated long enough to have gotten rid of the Ehrlichia, and he thinks we can at least try discontinuing the Rifampin.
Might have a rough week or so, he said, but if he's right, I'll be fine on just the Doxy. If I continue feeling crappy of start going backwards, he'll reconsider.
But I'm hopeful on that news.
And btw, I am starting to have bursts of energy where I feel like sprinting up and down the driveway a couple times.
So I do; sometimes I feel okay afterwards, sometimes not.
But it's a step in the right direction.

How long is "long enough" for Ehrlichia. I have the same thing. How much Rifampin are you taking?

I have erlichia but I guess have never treated for it.
(Doxy/ceftin/malaron/zith/plaquenil/flagyl)
What herbs treat erlichia?

Canefan - Doxy treats Ehrlichia. Usually at least 1 month for that, I think...
