preferably chewable?
Hemofactors was recommended but I cant seem to find it. Would prefer sublingual, liquid, chewable but must be non constipating.
Thanks!

Iron bis-glycinate, but it is a pill.

I agree with the iron bisglycinate (Ferrochel). It has been shown in numerous studies to be more effective than other types of iron and is used with no problem even in pregnant women.

It passes through the stomach and is absorbed in the small intestine, so no nausea/irritation. Also no constipation. I have lots of GI problems and am able to tolerate this one.

Floradix Iron and Herbs is a non-constipating liquid, but it's not as potent as other iron supplements. It also comes yeast-free. The down side is that it contains lots of herbs, so if you have allergies this might not be the best choice.

You probably know this, but always take iron w/Vitamin C (and B vits if possible).

Vitacost sells iron bisglycinate and also Floradix.

Magnesium helps with the constiption...you can even use the hot drink...Natual calm with magnesium and calcium. This is a good bedtime drink.

Magnesium and/or Vitamin C will alleviate constipation.
