I am trying to sort through all of my supplements and weed out some that may be less important.

There are certain items that I see on Lymenet all the time so I just went out and got those. Coconut oil and a couple of other things.

If you had to choose the 3 most important Supplements that you use, what would they be?

That's a really hard one, because I take so many. Here are 3 that are very basic. I'm not including lyme-specific herbs here, just supplements.

Vitamin D
Omega 3 fish oil
Probiotics

Rather than limit it to 3, find one or two that contain many - a good overall formula. I could never give up Magnesium or Fish Oil.

And a specific LIVER support is absolutely necessary. Milk Thistle is the most common. Unless the liver is protected during antibiotic treatment, it can be damaged. The ears, too, need that liver support to help keep toxins lower.

Livergy, Kidney-Klear, Thyroiden all from
www.inno-vita.com

Keebs I really agree with liver support and also now feel kidney support is also essential.

Have used others but for 6 weeks these have been the main three.

New Chapter - Super Critical Antioxidants (Gets rid of my toxic anxiety fast. I go through a bottle in a week though)
Natural Calm Magnesium
Coconut water (my potassium gets low and for hydration)

Coconut water is not sold as a supplement, but I love the stuff just as a refreshing beverage. Twice the potassium as a banana, and more electrolytes than most sports drinks. And more importantly, all natural.

I also tried a brain/nerve cleanse by Nutramedix. 7 drops in water, and I fell asleep. I don't even remember going to sleep, and I have trouble sleeping during the day. It was the deepest sleep I have had in a long time, but I would have to try the stuff again to see if it was the cause. It's not a sedative or anything like that.

If i could only afford three--- the indispensable ones are nattokinase and probiotics;

also, of course, "Bone Restore" Life Extension brand calcium plus pills,

Magnesium malate

Vitamin D3.

The boring basics. Also plus trace minerals.

---Polly Polygonum
---or Nilufar Knotweed

Probiotics always a must, no ifs, ands or buts on that one.

Also I am leaning toward vit D as very important.

Third is a toss up between B12 and magnesium.

MSM-----hands down

I have been on it for months.

Also LLMD has me starting Magnesium and Fish Oil this week along with a few other--so we'll see.

I'd have to vote for probiotics (which I've been slacking on and now paying the price--lol ):

Milk Thistle also a plus

As far as coconuy oil I've heard a lot of good things--haven't got that far yet but am going to try.

kday--where do you find coconut water at??

Probiotics.

Milk Thistle.

Magnesium.

It's difficult for me to pick only three because so many of them have been helpful.

Only 3? Ok

1) vitamin B injections- Love them!
2) Omega 3
3) Prime Chlorella-tastes horrible, but is such a wonderful detox.

I have to add one more- my pro biotic. [hi]

I second the pekana drainage kit! My top two favorites are pekana labs products.

1) Renelex (Pekana labs kidney remedy)

2) Apo-Hepat (Pekana labs liver remedy)

3) Metagenics Protein and Vitamin powder (my favorite is Ultra InflamX)

Are the Pekena products for detox? Can you take them at the same time as abx? Should they be on an empty stomach? Can kids take them too?

I have some Renelex and Apo-Hepat left over from a visit to an LLMD that I didn't stay with. I am considering using them again but don't recall the details.

Thanks,

tickbattler

Tick Battler-

Yes, they are homeopathic remedies for detox You can take them while on abx.

If one is toxic, you may feel worse initially as it opens pathways.

Good luck. Heel detox kit on vitacost is 1/3 of the prics of pekana kit and equally as effective IMO.
