ive had top of the head thinning more and more and more, it is the most devastating thing, i dont know if its just thinning, or alopecia, every week i have less hair on my crown area, but not necessarily falling clumps, there is just NO regrowth
alot of things are wrong i imagine iron deficient but ive had that for years chronic insomnia stress of being sick terrible detoxer i dont know what has caused this all of a sudden
any suggestions on how to get help? shampoos or natural remedies
should i get on thyroid med even though my adrenals are shot?
i just dread the fact in going to a bunch of doctors, more blood tests and no help what kind of doctor do i see or what do i google

lacey,
I've been there (still am)
One thing I can tell you is there isn't a shampoo, conditioner, or topical cream that will do ANYTHING for you. It's all happening inside.
I would NOT treat your thyroid until you've conquered adrenal fatigue. (I've been battling the temptation but am glad I haven't dove into thyroid meds... because my adrenals sometimes can't even handle a long drive across town!! much less sythetic hormones)
You should focus on these 5 things first...
1) Killing Lyme (Dr B always says... when in doubt... "It's Lyme, stupid."
2) Diet (Search Lyme Inflammation Diet)
3) Adrenals (search "adrenals" on here)
4) Sleep(may fix with adrenal support)
5a) Exercise (3/4 times per week, anaerobic) 5b) Detox (epsom salt baths, lemon water, saunas)
Then you can focus on iron levels, co-infections, nutritional deficiencies, etc etc
Most who have lost hair during Lyme treatment have experienced regrowth once treatment ended.

More specifically... amoxy killed Lyme which in turn helped regrow hair.
