I have experienced herxes before, but nothing like this. I have been sick most of the week.

My stomach is really killing me. Both rib areas are sore, my lower back hurts, and I am really nauseated. I had liver enzymes checked today, but won't hear from lab until Monday or Tuesday.

Could this be gallbladder or liver issues?

Is there a gentle liver detox that won't make things worse? I tried a coffee enema a couple of weeks ago and got really sick...scared to go there again.

Get the organ healthier before you dp any detox.

Liver enzyme tests are NOT good indicators of liver health !

Could be gallblader. Press hard on the "web" between your right thumb + index finger. If it is sore it may indicate gallbladder not right.
Stool color ?
Stool floats ?
Those may point to gallbladder too.

Might not be your problem but thought I would share this. Many with chronic disease and antibiotic treatment have trouble with slow sludgy bile flow causing inflammation in the gallbladder bile duct.

I have been taking liver-gall cleanse caps for several years to keep my gallbladder from painful attacks. I still do get soreness in my gallbladder area and right shoulder. But no more attacks.

Recently some patients told me that their doctor has prescribed Actigall to keep bile flowing. I may try that next.

By the way, I have had high liver function tests at times in the past. But since using the liver-gall cleanse I have not. It is just an herbal with milk thistle, dandelion root, etc. and is gentle on my tummy.

Just some thoughts. Not promoting anything. [Wink]

I take milk thistle now. I may switch to liver-gall cleanse caps when I finish my current supply. What brand?

I meant to say I had liver function tests. Are those different than enzymes?

I am taking milk thistle. Please suggest any other supplement you suggest that could help the liver become healthier.

Sounds like I pass the gallbladder tests! I am just a little sore between the thumb and index finger. Other symptoms are negative.

Livergy + KidneyKlrar from www.inno-vita.com
or K + L + Ls from www.systemicformulas are good things to start with.

You can check if local chiros may have them or order them for her.

Milk thistle for the liver is OK, but these are more comprehensive. There is also a great (IMO) book titled "The Healing Triad" that used to be titled "Your Liver...Your Lifeline" by Dr. Jack Tips PhD ND. Should be at amazon or www.drjacktips.com
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the sites there should be phone #S. Call + ask for practitioners in your area.

They may ask for your zip code or codes in your area to find practitioners in their database. If there are none and you know any chiros or naturopaths in your area ask them to get those supps for you.

I've done about 15 of the Hulda Clark gallbladder/liver flushes with great results! No pain what so ever. Passed many hundreds of stones, from BB size to dime size.

These flushes really clean out the gallbladder and liver. You can find the regimen on her website.

I have really been interested in trying those. Did you do a parasite cleanse first? Did you feel sick at all?

Should I do a cleanse now or try to wait until I feel better?

Yes, I got a parasite zapper and began using it about when I started doing the flushes last summer. I average doing the flushes about every 3 weeks.

I only get a little queezy during the night after drinking the oil/juice mix. I've never thrown up though.

When you see the stones floating in the water, you see that it's worth it all!! No pain whatsoever.

I'd personally do one now, even without a parasite cleanse first. It will probably make you feel better, as you'll be getting a lot of toxins and crud out of the liver.

Here's a link to the whole process:

Hope you feel better. I'll be glad to answer what I can based on my experience!

Liver function tests are for liver enzymes.

On the flushes critics of them say that what you consume for the flush actually create the "stones".

I am not sure about the creation of the stones but if ones' gallbladder is actually creating them on a continuing basis, boy that organ is not healthy.

I've researched this a lot. I've read the theory about the oil/juice creating the stones too.

But I drink the same amount of oil/juice each time and the number of stones has varied greatly, from several spoons full the first few times to just a few stones the last couple of times.

That tells me that they must be real stones or I'd get about the same amount each time. They come mostly from the liver. There's also some stuff called chaff/sand that comes out. It looks like course tan colored sand floating on top of the water.

Dr. Hulda Clark says the stones sometimes contains what may be parts of parasites, as if the body has defended itself by encapsulated them.

Here's a link to some recent info about the flushes.
