for the last week or so i have been having groin (inner thigh area right below legs on both sides) pain and cramps. feels like a vein spasming or something. it's a really wierd feeling.
does anybody else get this? could it be circulation? not enough exercise?
i just started walking today and have been using my gazelle for 20 minutes per day but this was before that.

I was getting it on the right side only.
Lots of good water + minerals seem to have helped a lot. MIN from Systemic Formulas.

It can somtimes be related to bowel movements. If there is a bunch of toxin building up and you don't have a BM it can cause pain in the groin area.
just a thought

Randibear, I get it on the left side. It comes and it goes. I thought it was from a herniated lumbar disk surgery. But, I don't know about that since I was diagnosed last year with TBD's.
I use a Infrared sauna for detox and don't have any bathroom issues.
Usually stretches will help it when it feels like it is cramping.

I have bi-lateral severe groin pain but it really feels like ligaments or something. It is very painful. I also have severe abdominal/hip/pelvic pain. Been at it trying to figure out what this is. and most think it is Bartonella but I think I also have abdominal adhesions and maybe some endometriosis. I have trouble walking and moving and don't take excercise walks or stretch like I have my entire life. Stretching make it hurt more most of the time. Robin
I think it is primarily Bart

i'm sorry i don't think i made myself clear. umm, it's in the legs, inner thigh up to abdomen. it feels like pulsing or a cramp. it's not in the pelvic or groin, it's inner leg area.

Randi
I get mine from the groin area inside the leg to the knee. Is yours similar?
We me it is just muscle cramping

oh yeah, that's it. at first i thought it was the major artery which goes to the heart, but it feels more like a spasm or something.
it sure gets your attention when it happens tho.

The best for groin is when she shows that if you aren't nimble (who is?) to bend your knee and put your heel towards the groin area. That really stretches the groin muscle.
Another one may be to lie on your stomach in bed, Yeah, kick your husband out take your left leg and stretch to the side. Make sure the leg is straight and knee is not bent.
Now move your leg up towards the headboard. When you start feeling the pull, hold for 5-6 seconds then release. Do this a few times.
Both these help me a lot to release the cramping.
Oh, and don't expect to be able to do the Pigeon pose the way the gal on the video does it. It takes time to get to that point.....if ever !

Yes, I had this on my left side. It was so bad I used to pull myself up the stairs. It is a hard pain to describe- muscle/tendon??
It would also make the area numb if I sat still too long.
The good news is that it has subsided w/ only a mild tugging now and then since I began treating Bart w/ Zith and Rifampin.

Hey <<<<< Randibear >>>>>,
I'd tho't mine was related to an injury and an adhesion [ perhaps like Robin] from surgeries, the pain w can go from inner thigh/leg area down to knee and up to lower abdomen.
Magensium seems to help a little... but I'll have to watch that yoga video line...
Most of my issue is in the right upper leg, and then a different 'charlie horse' issue w/ the left lower calf area...
Does the inner upper leg feel sorta like a 'charlie horse' spasm??? I hope you are able to get some relief and start feeling better!!!
