So many great experts out thier I have a million dollar question for you (well you don't get a million dollars but I may be getting my life back:)).

I have had tingling all over for a long time but a few weeks ago i had an attack of pins and needles, mostly in my trunk and legs. This has continued and it actually gets quite itchy.

Now the pins and needles are accompanied by just the pins just about everywhere - it is actually a little painful like being bitten.

I also have a patch about 10" on leg that has been numb for years and yesterday i had mild pins and needles in that area and a few pin pokes. The area is still numb to the touch.

So do you think that I could take this as a sign that my nerves are healing, which would be awesome the first sign treatment is working.

Or is this a really bad sign.

regards

maps,

If you are feeling different and are feeling something in an area that has been numb for years, I would take it as a good sign!

It's those subtle changes that add up and make a difference over time.

I am cheering for you!!!!!!!!!!

Are you getting pins and needles after an IV such as Rocephin? What meds are you on?

No, no iv yet. I have had trouble staying on antibiotics.

When it started I was on suprax but i have been off that for about ten days.

I was taking a supplement containing:
250mg vitamen c
L Glutamine 750mg
N-acetyl cysteine 375mg
Alph lipoic acid 75mg

three times a day.

Plus immovain and requip for sleep which i have taken for years

I want to be positive about this change but all my research indicates negative [Frown]
