At my doctor's recommendation, I have gone in the past five days from a gluten-free semi-organic diet to a gluten AND casein-free, mostly organic diet which also incorporates more raw fruits and veggies. I also started taking my doctor's version of Interfase Plus (enzymes plus EDTA) to break up biofilm (one a day), and a good amount of liquid chlorophyll. Also started on a new probiotic (Natren's Healthy Trinity).
So I felt great for the first three or four days. No morning nausea, no diarrhea, no anxiety to speak of. Last night, however, I developed a stomach ache and then this morning I woke up nauseated, anxious, and sweaty.
I'm wondering if this is a die-off/detox/herx type of reaction to the dietary changes and the new supps. The changes I've made aren't THAT drastic but it just seems like weird timing. I felt so good for a few days and then this morning my symptoms really flared and I felt very uncomfortable for the first half of the day.
Wondering if others have had experience with Interfase Plus, liquid chlorophyll supplements, or even just a diet-induced detox.
I feel pretty good now. Hoping I'll feel okay tomorrow morning. Morning is the worst time of day for me, in general... which is sad because I love the morning!
Thanks very much.

MDW005, thanks for the bump.
Anyone at all??
I want to add that I feel better again today after backing off the chlorophyll and raw veggies for 24 hours.
Also, I have not yet been diagnosed with Lyme. We are waiting on the igenex results.
My mom had it undiagnosed for 10 years and is still struggling.. 20 years in total. She now has "scleroderma." (I believe she has been undertreated and am working on getting her to an LLMD).
Basically our whole family has been infected but I never suspected Lyme for myself because I've never had joint pain. I mainly deal with endocrine, neuro, and psych symptoms.

I do know that a detox effect CAN happen when one changes over their diet and adds supplements,
I know several people that slowly transitioned to a raw vegan diet that went through several periods of detoxing. And, that was just from old lifestyle choices.

Thanks Shidove. I think that I must have something like going on with me... I felt so great for the first few days and then I had such a BAD morning.
It does make me nervous thinking about what I'm going to experience if/when I start on abx... my body seems to be so unbelievably sensitive to EVERYTHING.
I am so tired of how "reactive" my body is.
It's like I can't do ANYTHING out of the ordinary or my body rebels... it seems like any deviation from my usually very tame lifestyle causes me to flare.
Very envious of people who can, for example, travel for 18 hours and then take a 2 hour nap, then get up and go out to dinner... that sort of thing.
The one time I traveled overseas (to Greece) I came down with a horrible fever the night I got to Athens... my body could not handle the air travel and I was sick for pretty much the entire trip (4 weeks).
I just want to experience some of that normal resilience and stamina and flexibility that comes with true good health.

You are not herxing unless you are on anti-spirochetal drugs. Sounds diet related.

Isn't it true that a change in diet could disrupt bacterial balance in the gut, especially with this supplement the doc gave me that's supposed to start dissolving biofilms?
Also I know some people say that switching to a more alkaline diet (which I have done) is inhospitable to pathological bacteria and can cause die-off... this is what I was wondering about.
