In addition to the Amox I am on, he added Azythromycin for the next month.
What can I expect from this abx/combination?

I am doing well. My chest pains are gone and joint, muscle pain is better. I still have tingling extremities though.

thanks

Can't speak to personal experience with the combo, as I've never had a LLMD but I understand these together can have a good effect.

First, though, be sure you are taking good liver support as zith can put some stress on the ears and Milk Thistle, B-6 and avoiding tylenol (even one dose can of tylenol can damage liver and ears).

It is very important so as to help the liver AND help protect the ears, too. If you experience any changes with your ears, in any way, be mindful of that and let your doctor know. With the liver care, and excellent self-care, this may work very well for you.

Be sure to use hearing protection even when around a hairdryer, vacuum, blender, etc. This is important with all antibiotics and for all lyme patients at all time. Ear plugs &/or official "muffs"

Nothing is going to make you feel all new overnight. It will take take. Glad to see you are coming along.

As for the tingling, you are taking magnesium, right? That should help. Krill oil or OmegaBrite . . . and you might consider Gotu Kola to help with circulation.

Have you taken Doxycycline yet? It helped with my numbness pain and tingles more than anything. Keeping a daily log may help you decide later what helped the most.

I don't think Zith did much for me. But I took it anyway.

Glad you are getting some response. Keep up the good work.
