Over the past couple of days I have noticed that I have become increasingly more fatigued and have been having chest tightness right above the breastbone and on each side of my ribs under my arms.
I've been on doxy for a week and a half now? Could these be signs that my body is beginning to get rid of lyme toxins?
I get so exhausted in the late morning and just want to do nothing but lay around, which is hard to do at work.
The severe insomnia isn't helping much either.

I started herxing on doxy at the end of the third day, but some people have mentioned that it happened to them after about 2 weeks.
You can't go nap under a tree? haha. Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to be napping if you're wrangling chainsaws and tree trunks or something, lol.
I hate being fatigued at work. I'm pretty much useless when that happens, but luckily, when I do get to go home, I fall asleep and then I feel better.
Some people have herxes that last a long time or come back often, but some don't have them at all. In my case, mine lasted for about 10 days before I got back to near what had been "normal" before starting doxy.
I hope you feel better soon.

Oh yeah. Sounds like a herx to me!
As the keets die they throw off toxins, making your symptoms intensify.

I agree. Many get to bad to work if you weren't there already.
I hope you are one of the lucky ones.
But if your not it is no fault of yours.
It is a very hard disease to deal with and should be considered just as bad as Cancers.
