I was bitten by a tick in Florida and brought the disease back to New Mexico with me. I suffered hallucinations and bizzare eye problems such as the back of chairs or vertical blinds would seem to vibrate rapidly, back and forth.

Thanks to my kind PCP, Dr F. in Arizona and "TF" on this website, I have gotten much better. I believe the Singleton and Burrascano approach has worked well for me.

One last problem remains: I can't clear this from my eyes. My eyes are MUCH improved but I still have minor vibrations in everything I see.

I did 3 months of rochepn IV and I currently take Biaxin, plaquenil and Rifampin.

I am wondering if I should add Tindimax or bactrim to my regime. Dr. F. doesn't prescribe it but I know some people have been cured of the disease and I am so close. Dr.F. has also always maintained that he has never cured anyone of this disease and in his experience the disease always returns.

Please give me your oppinions on adding these drugs or other things that cleared your eye problems. I know "TF" is crued and others are too and I am so very close.

Thanks Jay,

That's good to know. Are you still in remission or cured? How long were you taking ABX?

Flagyl should most definitely be used if you were on 3 months of IV Rocephin.

Glad to hear you're doing well.

TF is def the best. along with dr S and dr B

Have you been treated for Babesia? This may be where some of your symptoms lie.

I didn't have the classic symptoms of Babesia but Mepron is helping me.

I have also found out that I have parasites so I will be throwing in some anti-parasitic type drugs. I am beginning to wonder if this is my main problem now.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

And yes TF is giving us all hope. Thank God he/she still sticks around to remind us that there are solutions to our problems.

Hi Haley,

I've wondered about the babesia myself; although the lab tests were always negative. That is why I was considering the bactrim.

Caneled also brings up a good point about using a cyst-buster after the rocephin IV. I'm not sure if you can ever fully recover without using one.
