I posted this whole post originally in the General Support but I would love to hear as much feedback as possible so I'm reposting here. I hope that is okay.
***UPDATE 3.19.10*** I took my daughter to an appointment for a persistent sore throat and still having the swollen/tender lymph glands on her neck mentioned below.
They ran some blood work and "OH MY" they said she has mono and can't have any contact activity for 4-6 weeks. She will be devastated as she is a very active young girl (but she tires very easily).
After thinking about it I remembered that she was bitten by a tick 2 summers ago and was with me when I was bitten 3 years ago. My gut tells me this is probably more than just mono but. Is testing positive for mono a indication of a tick borne illness?
I know my thoughts are random and for that I apologize...I'm just worried.

Original Post: I'm trying not to panick but when I add up all the symptoms below from my previous post it leaves me wondering if I shouldn't get her in to see my llmd. I have a 9 yo daughter who has changed quite a bit over the last year. She has become attached to me and is constantly worrying about me forgetting to pick her up from somewhere (which I've never done), she's complaining about multiple symptoms (belly aches, being tired, swollen tender lymph nodes in her neck, scabby rash in her head, aches and pains).
Well, last night while we were watching tv together she looked up at me and asks me if I'm going to die and asks if LD can make you die.
I was afraid that she might have gotten bit when I did in 2007 but we didn't know it or that a tick bite she received in 2008 was now showing symptoms of LD.
I'm blessed to be able to work full time and usually make it to all of their functions (I just let the housework and other stuff go most of the time).
Anyone with children had this experience with worry? If so any suggestions you could offer to me yo help ease her fears would be much appreciated.
If you think ishould be worried about her health due to the complaints please let me know that too. It's just hard to know what's best.

I would have her seen by a good LLMD. If it is Lyme it is better to get treatment sooner than later.
A Mom knows her children better than anyone else, don't dismiss your worries and concerns.

Hi Michele - Did she ever get a rash from the tick bite?
It can sometimes take a while for symtoms to show up or they may appear so minor and varied that you don't make the connection. Until they get worse.
And stress can activate a "dormant" case of lyme too.

She never had a bulls-eye rash but has had some small rashes that have been itchy and hurt. Doctor passed it off. I had the full blown bulls-eye rash and they still told me I was fine!

She can have mono or Epstein -Barr, and not have lyme.
However, since she was bitten by a tick, you may want to set up an appointment with an LLMD, or you can see if rest and inactivity is successful.

It's me again Michele just went back into your history and wow have you been through alot!
I am constantly amazed how much people have endured with Lyme disease and how little it is talked about - known about too.
Oh and boy can I relate to family and co workers being "sick" of hearing about it.
And like I said I don't think it is talked about enough!!!
They think I see everything through my Lime colored glasses!

Please don't mess around with Mono and possible Lyme. If you can get to a LLMD the sooner the better.

It can never hurt to see a LLMD. Most or at least mine, is a great diagnostic physician for all illnesses. He treats more than just TBD(tick borne diseases). I would take her without question.
