Hey all-I've been on an abx break for a few months due to kidney and gut issues but I had to go on Amoxicillin this past week due strep throat and a bad cold.
I've been on 875mg twice a day for about 4 days now and MAN DO MY FEET HURT. My ankle is swollen and hurts as well as my knee. Does this sound like herx?
It seems that the last few times I've been on abx my feet seem to be the first thing to hurt.
If it is a herx should I call my llmd and ask for more since I only have 6 more days to go?

amoxil was one of the biggest herx meds for me. And they lasted for months on end. helped me grow some hair back that fell out though, which a number of other meds did not do
