I was just wondering if you could treat a co-infection (Babesia) at the same time as Bartonella. Or do you have to treat the co-infection first then address Bartonella afterwards?

Start treatment for both now. Bart is caused by bacteria, Babs is a protozoan. 2 different types of medication. Get them while the getting is good.
Best to you.

Bartonella is consider a co-infection of Lyme. Yes, you can treat co-infections at same time.
Depending on the protocal your LLMD puts you on, combos of antimicrobials, dosages etc can work on both Lyme & co-infections.
Your LLMD will descide what he/she will want to do.

I'm sorry. My brain isn't working very well today. I meant to say is it possible to treat Babesia and borrelia burgdorferi at the same time (not bartonella). Thank you!

not only is it possible... it's wise to always treat Lyme while attending to the co-infections.
Remember Lyme is the gatekeeper to this mess.
