How do you know if you are experiencing a Herx or simply a bad side affect from an antibiotic?

There is no way that I know of, but I do know a cure taht really works well. Take 1/2 of an ORGANIC lemon, wash it really well, put the whole thing, rind seeds and all in the blender with about two tablespoons of organic olive oil and blend until smooth. then drink.
It really helps with the pain, not sure how the mechanics of it work medically, but it really really helps. Somehow it gets the toxins out faster. I add ice and make it into like a smoothie with ice it's easier to eat, too.
It's not bad at all, and actually you'll start to crave it when you do herx.
Hope this helps

My herx reactions (that I get from both antivirals and antibiotics) tend to hit me between day 10 and day 14 after I start the drug. I cannot function...I am horizontal. I feel quite ill, often have a severe headache, often flu like symptoms (achy body, chills, sore lower back, hurts to walk up and down stairs). I basically curl up in a ball and wait it out (1-5 days). Then I feel fairly rotten for 16-17 weeks, and then feel better if the drug was working.
