I would like to know if there are any documents or pertinent info that I need to give to my attorney to take (or to take myself) when we go to see the judge.
I have other health issues besides Lyme and co's, but I want to do everything that I can to hopefully get this taken care of.
How many of you have been denied at the hearing? I will turn around and file again if I have to.

I have the same questions as my hearing is this June. I've been only waiting since Sept 2006. I have a big old box of medical records and tests that I'll be bringing.
However, my hearing is in front of a video camera with a judge in Chicago and I'm in MI.
My attorney will be contacting me prior with instructions as to what to do, say, dress, ect.

- I had looked previously for that thread posted above but could not see it. Thanks to BettyG for helping me look again - and I found it this time.
Does she (and big stan) have RFC, "residual function capacity" forms completed by their SUPPORTING DRS. showing how many hrs. a day they can work PRESENTLY:
0-2, 2-4, 4-6, or 6-8
sitting, lifting, climbing bending using their hands STANDING, etc.
just ask them to read minoucat's complete post & links of info; great info there! good luck to boy of them from

This is a good question as I also have a SSDI hearing coming up soon.
I am not sure what to expect either. Hopefully more people will comment.

It seems like you have been going through this longer than I have, and you are just now going to a hearing?
Maybe we did originally file closer together than I thought though.......

I filed first around May or June of 2009, so it'll be a year soon that I've been in. They had me to go a doctor, denied me. Then had me go to another doctor, denied me again and then a psych and denied me AGAIN. So now we're waiting for a hearing...
Two of the doctors I went to agreed with me that I was obviously sick and couldn't work and that they'd try to help me, but in the end it is SSDI who makes the final decisions in denying or accepting you. Even though two docs told me they would tell SSDI I needed it, I was STILL denied by SSDI.
