I have Lyme disease and began treatment last week after a break. I was also on Quinine and Clindamycin. Does anyone have large (almost the size of a cd) round rashes. The center is clear and the edges are red.

you know i had round circles on my chest. it was after going to the er and they gave me morphine.

they told me i was allergic and it was hives, but i'm not so sure.

i think those can come and go with lyme.

You already have been dx with lyme, so, this makes sense. Often, when starting treatment, one or more bulls eye rash will become apparent, even if it had not before. Just keep the photos in your file. Your next visit, take a copy to your LLMD to put in your medical chart. If there are changes, record those.

But since you know you have lyme, it's more of a confirmation than a reason to worry. Just don't use any steroid cream at all.

It sure looks like a bulls eye rash. Although faint, the outer line is quite unique to lyme. See:

Thanks Keebler. My rashes were identical to the one of the man's belly button. I just thought it was really weird.

I'm with Keebler on this. It is most likely related to Lyme disease.

Years ago, I had rashes develop on the webs of my fingers. And, once I started treatment, they came flaring back out.

It's been about a month, and it has resolved close to 80%.

Please, keep us updated so others can learn from your experience.
