Doctor prescribed Gaba Pentin which is helping with nerve irritation in brain- but I think is making my non existent sleep worse?
I have not tried straight cordyalis/tried almost everything else-can this be taken with drugs?
Can anyone recommend a brand?where to order?

Just plain old Ambien works for me but everyone is different.

- For some, Ambien has caused more than a few nightmare moments. Even Tiger Woods' car crash may have been caused, in part, by ambien that he had taken earlier that night. He may have been better able to negotiate the car without it.

That would depend upon the type of drugs.
Antibiotics - yes.
Any sleep drugs? NO. Never take an herbal sleep formula with any psychoactive or sleep drug. Also never take an herbal sleep formula with prescription pain meds. One or the other. Never both.
As well, alcohol should never be combined with any herbal sleep formula. But lyme patients are supposed to totally avoid alcohol, so that should not be an issue.

To compare Shixiao San and Jin Lingzi San, it is helpful to examine two of the main ingredients. Yang Yifan (9) compares corydalis to trogopterus (wulingzhi):
Corydalis and trogopterus enter the liver and spleen meridians. Both are able to promote blood circulation and remove congealed blood. They are very effective for relieving pain.
This is an excellent formula, intended for use before going to bed (follow instructions and caution with driving until you get used to it. Do not mix with sedative or alcohol).
Ingredients; Corydalis root, jujube seeds and Schisandra fruit.

In my experience, Corydalis makes me sleepy. Curcumin does not. Curcumin helps lower the stress hormone levels throughout the day, so that sleep is more likely at night. -
