I'm pretty new to this and I have been on IV (invanz) for 2 weeks and I'm soon to start again for an indefenite period. Everything I've read says that after 28 days Ins will no longer cover. . I see that most people here have been on ABX for a long time. I'm sure you have all exhausted coverage by now. What do you do when that happens. I'm trying to get an idea of what I can do when this happens to me and how much it is going to cost me on a monthly basis.

I'll be interested to see what answers you get.
Our COBRA insurance extension runs out at the end of this month, and I don't know what we're going to do.
I've been turned down by some insurances (you know, pre-existing condition and all), so I don't even know where I'm going to go from here.

Do oral antibiotics! Much less expensive and insurance is more likely to cover them.
