Have you tried activated charcoal? I was recently told to try it and I am going to give it a go.

Jenny,

I would be interested to know how the activated charcoal goes. I have it in my plethora of sups but I have not tried it yet. I guess I worry that it will suck up all of the (expensive) Mepron Im taking.

I've also heard it can suck up vitamins and minerals.

Haley,

Does it really suck up vitamins and minerals too?? Well that isn't good! I guess it makes sense that it would do that but I need some kind of binder. UGH! I will let you know how I do [Smile]

Bubbalyme,

I don't know if this may be helpful, but I have been using a soluble fiber called apple pectin. Toxins are a big issue for me, and this is the first of many products I have tried, giving me quite a bit of results from using it.

It is a cholesterol binding fiber similar to what the drug cholesteramine does.

Google, apple pectin, toxins. There is quite a bit of information on it.

I take apple pectin too. Must be taken away from abx. so it doesn't suck up the good stuff.

Does apple pectin have side effects at all?

What brand of apple pectin is suggested?

This seems to be the only kind Vitacost has...
