I was looking over old posts and came across one by Brussels who cured her bartonella with some herbs that I had not heard of before.
I am considering trying some of these. Can you tell me if you have tried them and if so, whether you had success or if you have heard of success with them?

I take a Xymogen product called Viragraphis. It contains isatis (you listed) and also andrographis (in the core buhner protocol).
The Viragraphis product is meant to treat viral infections, and support against bacterial as well. I have been taking for a few months, test very strong for it, so believe it is helpful.

Some of these may be in homeopathic form. You may want to ask Brussels which ones she used in homeopathic form...?

I just started using isatus root (also called indigo) and having stronger die off and greater reduction of bartonella symptoms than months on Septra, andrographis or Houtynia!

- Astragalus is only for new, acute infections. Not for those with chronic infection unless it is a small portion of an over all formula or protocol.
Be careful with Bee Pollen. Start slow and low dose with food. Twice I took this on an empty stomach. Soon later, what seemed like the worst flu over took me with horrible nausea. The second time, I figured it out. -

I take a mushroom product off & on. They are suppose to help enhance the immune system. They aren't really "killing" herbs/mushrooms - more for general support.... That's what has been my experience.
Phellodendron = Huang Bai (broad spectrum antimicrobial, includes action against spirochetes)
Astragalus = Huang Qi (immune modulator)
Isatis folium = Da Qing Ye, Indigo Leaf (broad spectrum antimicrobial, mostly used for viruses)
Forsythia = Lian Qiao (broad spectrum antimicrobial, including action against spirochetes)
Eleutherococcus = Siberian Ginseng (immune modulator and adrenal adaptogen)
The Huang Bai, Da Qing Ye, and Forsythia would also treat Bartonella and clear mucus.
Chinese herbs are rarely given as single herbs. This would be a good combined herbal formula for chronic infection.

I think I used all of them, NOT in homeopathic form. I have to go back to my notes or my old anti-bartonela herbs.

I think I'm gonna try Forsythia.
It's a cooling herb and because of Bart I tend to do great with cooling herbs (Houttuynia, peppermint, etc)
