Does anyone know of an outstanding eye doctor in Pennsylvania who can do a thorough exam? Preferably one with the OptoMap machine for retinal exams.

I had 8 prescription changes in 3 months and cannot see out of my current lenses. Vision seems to change daily.

FWIW, the Optomap is NOT the best way to get a good view of the posterior pole. It's usually used as a screening exam in lieu of dilating eye drops. There are far better retinal cameras out there for use in identifying retinal/macular/vascular/optic nerve lesions. Not to mention optical coherence tomographers
are now ubiquitous enough that it shouldn't be hard to find a good eye doctor in your area that has one. It's a more detailed way to check for nerve fiber loss or optic neuritis, IMO.

Okay, thank you EyeBob.
I should ask if the doctor uses an optical coherence tomographer?

Are you taking Plaquinel?

Hi Haley

No, I am not taking Plaquinel.
My vision was one of my first symptoms. I've been living with blurred vision for 12 years, and I can't get an eye prescription/glasses that corrects it. Seems to change from day to day.
