I got bit by another tick just in my back yard. Nowhere near the woods. I got this wierd itchy rash a few days later. I posted a pic, does anyone think it looks like anything of concern?

Well, yes, indeed.
As you say "another" tick bite, do you currently have a LLMD? Are you on lyme treatment? If so, contact your LLMD on Thursday.
If not, find a LLMD soon but a trip the the URGENT CARE clinic right now would be in order and may get you enough medicine to protect you or hold you over until you can see a specialist.
If you are on treatment, there may not be as much concern. Satellite rashes can appear at any time during the treatment.
However, as there are over 300 strains of Borrelia and many other tick-borne infections, you could have a new infection that is either not covered by your current meds - OR - any new infection may be covered by any med you are on and this could be a herxheimer reaction.
Only a seasoned and experienced ILADS-educated LLMD would be able to determine what is what.

I was treated a long time ago but am still having symptoms. I am in the process of getting a referral to a LLMD that takes my insurance. Here my post about my recent blot:
Hey all. I am fairly new to the board and had some questions about my Western Blot results. I was fomrally diagnosed with Lyme back in Aug. 2008. Although it was suspected in 2004 my WB came back with only 2 bands present. I treated with Doxycyclene in 2008 for 30 days. The symptoms got better then came back and worsened over the next year. I went to see an ID Dr. in 2009 and had a ELISA and spinal tap which were both positive for Lyme antibodies. I was treated for 28 days on IV Rocephin. Well, I got better then worse. My Dr. insisted it was gone and took me off the Rocephin. I have alot of physical and cognitive problems and I know it is from lyme, so I ordered myself a Western Blot. If anyione can help me translate the results, they are below: IGM: 18 kda + 23-25 kda + 28 kda ++ 31 kda + 34 kda + 39 kda IND 41 kda ++ 45 kda + 83-93 kda +
IGG 31 kda IND 34 kda IND 39 kda + 41 kda ++ 58 kda ++
I am trying to decide my next course of action since I feel so bad every day. Any help/opinions would be appreciated.

But, truly the results of the Western Blot are telling.
Was that done before or after this recent bite? Still, once lyme becomes disseminated, it just does not go away. Sorry you got such incomplete treatment the first time.
Thirty weeks' treatment for new case is the best, according to some LLMDs. Most treat a full couple months beyond clearing of all symptoms.
You don't need anymore lyme tests. You need a good LLMD. Insurance in likely to not cover but contact your local support groups as they would best know the options in your area.
Also, were I to have a fresh bite and no LLMD around, I'd get on some really good organic freeze-dried garlic or allicin ASAP.
Now, this rash may or may not be lyme but you might get the EM test from a piece of the skin. IF that tests positive, at least your local doctors might give you some treatment while you find a real lyme doctor.

Thanks, I will try the garlic and or allicin. This bite was last week. I was treated in 2008 and 2009. The western blot was in March of this year.

- You need to retake that photo, somehow, with one view of your face. Also with one shot of a current newspaper or magazine with the date very clear. Mirrors help - or another set of arms (on a kind person) to help you out.
Also add a ruler or a clean coin to help show actual size.
You may need to document that this, is in fact, YOUR body and when the photo was taken. Save one for your personal file and make a couple copies for your new doctor's file.
While a new LLMD may well believe you, documenting that this is you, and not a file photo, can help protect them as they face very tough battle in order to treat lyme.

You may want to look back over all the books and articles you read the first time around with your treatment. There are some other things you can do for yourself as you wait this time. Liver support and probiotics are still needed.
Be sure to tend to your back yard (or get a pro to do so). Be mindful about your clothing, etc.

From my own experience, I'd bet that since you were treated (even though for only a short time), felt better and then worse again, you have lyme & coinfection(s).
Hope you find a good LLMD and get correct treatment!
