I've heard of someone with lyme doing longterm reflexology (several months) with fantastic results. Several herxs were produced along the way, and significant longterm improvement has (coincidentally?) resulted, after many years of poor lyme health.

Has anyone else heard or experienced similar results? What other experiences have those with lyme had reflexology?

If I understood correctly, the reflexologist was able to help get the immmune system back on track and help reduce the inflammation feedback loop us lymies have, among many other things. All of which gave the body a better chance for healing. (?)

Thanks!

I think reflexology is a good thing.

But I can't say it will kill bacteria or cure Lyme disease... or make everyone's immune system strong enough to do that.

But, as the saying goes, if it feels good, do it!

If the practitioner is good IME it can be good.

I have had some sessions that greatly relieved pain + increased energy. They can also help tell you which organs are most stressed.

Apparently it can help break response patterns the body is stuck in. That sounds great to me.

Q: Reflexology as a cure?

Never. Ever. It has absolutely no effect on spirochetes or other infectious microbes.

As a help? Sure. It can be a wonderful and relaxing adjunct for pain relief and a good emotional helper. If it feels good, go for it. But it should never been assumed to have direct antimicrobial effects. It just does not work that way.

No, it does not directly kill organisms.
However it helps change the internal terrain and improves the function of the detox organs.

This means the bugs have a less friendly place to live and the toxins that produce the most symptoms from lyme are more easily gotten rid of.
When these two things are better, you will feel better. And the load on your body is REDUCED.
