Today went over tests with LLMD. Was diagnosed with Neural Mediated Hypotension with high ACTH and high cortisol. He stated that he believed the infection was affecting the Pituitary gland, and gave oral medications to start taking. Will determine if IV is needed.
He did not believe it was adrenal fatigue. If you overcame NMH, high ACTH or high cortisol, I would very much appreciate hearing your success story or things that helped you. It has been a struggle to walk or leave the house.
Currently I am taking Midodrine, Florinef, increased salt intake, and wearing compression stalkings, and taking supplements.
Thank you for sharing. Its means a lot.

I certainly don't have a success story, but I have tested 2x with high cortisol. They are thinking it may have to do with my insomnia. I take a ton of meds, and sleep for a few hrs. Rest of the night I'm wide awake.
My LD really wants me to go to an endo in Conn., but would be 4 1/2 hrs away. As soon as all these tests come back, I'm going to see a pharmacist at a compounding pharmacy near Albany to see if he can help.
That is actually trying the easy way first, but ifit comes to driving that far, I will.

Im just going to rest that everything is going to be okay. If treatment has helped your cortisol or ACTH levels, please share.
