I have had this for a while now, but it seems to be more pronounced since starting the Zithromax or possibly due to the increase in Lamictal from 100mg to 200mg at night.
I have only taken 3 doses (250mg every other day to start) of the IV Zithromax, but now I will be every day and also continue on the 2gm of the IV Rocephin. The Lamictal seems to have helped my mood tremendously, but no more at 200mg than when I was at 100mg, perhaps I should back down.
Anyway, I'm having vivid bad dreams every night. I go to bed around 10pm or so and wake up very shaky and nervous at around 6am.
I get up and walk around and get some coffee to fully wake up. It takes about an hour for it all to calm down, then I'm o.k. It all settles down without taking anything. I take most of my oral meds at night.
Other than that, I've been getting out each and every day with my kids. I'm completely wiped out when I get home from doing anything.
Lamictal is known to cause bad dreams and nervousness and shaking, but I can't remember if I had this before the Lamictal.
My heels kill me when I do any extensive walking, and this has gotten worse in the past few weeks, so this is why I'm thinking this is all Bart. Isn't the Heel Pain a classic Bart sign ? What do you think of all of this ?

Yup, shaking, sweating, anxious, heart racing, and nightmares.

Oh gosh, Freddy Kruger has got ahold of you Gary, or perhaps his brother Bart?
I would stay the course with your current plan. The IV zith may also be hitting babesia a bit which can also account for racy heart, nervousness etc.
Great to hear that overall your mood is better and you're getting out with the kids! I know that you're thankful for that.....
you're on the right track with a good doc...and you've had some significant improvement! Yay.
Maybe the nightmares will improve too.
