Has anyone had success in lowering ACTH levels? If so, I would be interested in knowing what helped you.

I am writing due to being very concerned.
My ACTH levels are very high and because of that they are stimulating my adrenals and cortisol levels are also very high. CT Scan showed no Pituitary tumors and doctor stated infection was causing overproduction of ACTH. Have restarted treatment but dont know how long it will take to calm things down.
Concerned because system is in overdrive and I dont want adrenals to fatigue with this excess production of cortisol.
