Hello.I am allergic to magnesium sterate, silica, etc that are common fillers in body lotions.

I am looking for ideas on what I can use instead of these lotions containing the ingredients that cause me problems.

Anyone have any ideas on what natural products will help this dry skin on my legs/arms, etc. Thanks so much.

JoJoba oil, coconut oil, raw Shea butter(Can't moisturize) if you can tolerate the strong smell. Thats all I have on top of my head.

Avalon Organics has no petroleum products, nothing fake at all.

you can find their line at Vitacost.com - I like the one with lemon essential oil. I have chemical sensitivities but do very well with that.

Comes in lotion (that is non greasy and take just a couple minutes to seep in), shampoo, bath gel, hand soap, etc.

They also have a Rosemary shampoo good for this time of year (it may repel insects to a degree).

Have you tried Ava Anderson Non Toxic? Check it out at www.avaandersonnontoxic.com/christieandrade . Ingredients are listed on the site, and its rated a "0" on the Cosmetics Database.

From the website: Shea butter has natural anti-irritancy, anti inflammatory and enhanced UV-B protection. Natural lemon oil essence gives it the fresh, light scent. Pomegranate seed oil has a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and repair the skin and improve elasticity. Fruit oils give it the fresh, light scent.

You may want to increase your Essential Fatty Acids intake. That does it for me in no time at all. Dryness usually comes from the inside. That would not only benefit your dryness, but your total body including the brain.

Take care.
