So I got my IgG and my IgM results back from Igenex the other day.

I'm not treating through an LLMD, actually I'm under NO treatment right now, My doctor wanted to wait until I got the results back, and well... they are negative.

I know its a clinical diagnose only, and I'm at a lost. I'm 19, I can't deal with feeling like this much S*** alllll the time. I know none of you can either, but ugh. Worst.

Anyway. Here are my result

IgG Western Blot

**34 kDa. IND
**39 kDa. IND
**41 kDa. ++

The rest were -

IgM Western Blot

**23-25 kDa. IND
**31 kDa. IND
**34 kDa. IND
**41 kDa. +

The rest were -

What does this mean? You guys are the experts here. I am constantly fatigued, constantly sweating. The only thing that makes me feel better is alcohol (I know BIG no no) but hell, anything for relief right?

I need to be in treatment, but there is literally NO LLMDs in Canada, except one in ontario but hes not taking new patients.

What am I going to do?

I'm lost, I need help.

Thank you in advance.

Some docs consider IND to be a weak positive and if you consider that you are Positive for Lyme.

Find a another doctor maybe who will recognize it as so.

Your numbers are the same ones I have but I have just a couple others ..

But those main ones 23-25 and 31 and 34 and 39 and 41 are all considered lyme bands.

Stay positive and I hope you find a doctor to support you..

Have you heard of this doctor in B.C.? Here is his website. He is excellent. Although retired he is very involved in Lyme and the treatment of Lyme. I bet he would be able to find you an LLMD in the great white North.

I have his tx laying around somewhere, he takes calls, so PM me if you want it.

I agree. Seek LLMD.

It is most likely being hidden in your cells making it hard to see on the antibody/antigen test.

It may make all the difference to take the antibiotics and retest later when it may be seen better after killing some first.

But I do believe a LLMD would have no problem treating you with this test.

Have further testing for other infectious organisms. Band 41 alone doesn't prove Lyme.
It could be anyone of many bacteria (with flagella).

See Timaca's posts on viral testing also.

My daughter was given a trial run of abx based on a similar test and her response confirmed Lyme.

I also felt better early on when I had a glass of wine or two. That was prior to diagnosis. Later, I could not tolerate alcohol at all and became bedridden. Please find an LLMD. I had to travel by airplane to see mine. Most of us do not have one close.

How about testing for HHV-6, EBV, Chlamydia Pneumonia, enteroviruses (Coxsackie B and echoviruses)?

Best, Timaca

Ask for an antibiotic challenge.

Take 30 days of an antibiotic like doxy and then stop for 10 days.

Then retest.

I would find a LLMD and be seen first though.

It is a clinical diagnosis.

I didn't get an Igenex test (didn't know enough then).

Thank God I had one band come back reactive on Quest lab test.

IgM band 23.

Enough to get a diagnosis from a local duck.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Geneal

Yes, I would pay attention to those "IND" bands.. they are weak positives.. but they ARE PRESENT.

I also think an antibiotic challenge might be worth a try. You may know if you have Lyme by your reaction to the abx too.

Sounds like you could also have babesia (sweating) and the fatigue.

You could always buy meds online... or from CANADA... [Wink]
