Lately I feel like I have to scratch everywhere. Not to be discusting or anything, but a lot of this is crotch related. Fungal infection? Also on the legs, etc. I will scratch till I bleed at times. My wife will see blood on my leg and I won't even notice. Posted by Florence1 (Member # 22960) on :

allergic reaction to meds?

Could be from toxins. Make sure you are detoxing a lot. Epsom salt baths, Coffee enemas, infra red saunas all help with the itching for me.

I should start the baths up again and I was mostly soing hot dry saunas 15 minutes a day after workout. Working out is one of the best detox methods.
Never tried a coffee enema!

- Working out - if not aerobic - is helpful to get toxins out (aerobics are not allowed until LLMD okays it and patient is much better as aerobics with infections can stress the brain, heart and liver).
The low heat far infrared saunas are also easier on the heart. -

Have you tried using a medicated powder that has zinc.
We use Bismoline. It seems to kill the bacteria and fungus on the skin.

Add Candida (a yeast) to the list!
Ask your LLMD for an antifungal, and make sure to take plenty of REALLY good probiotics away from the abx. And, NO SUGAR or refined carbs. Topical nystatin cream (your LLMD could rx) helps, too.

I'll tell her about the itching....but it is only in the crotch for the most part now and I read that can be candida, but can also be other things.....from the gym and locker room.

I have had issues with candida and have a terrible problem with itching. I have a rash on my hands and under my eyes. It gets worse initially but then gets better with antifungals.
Good luck.

It is getting so bad...it burns!

I had plenty of itching and burning when I first started having symptoms. I scratched a hole right through my skin. I think it is called having Lyme disease.

If it's yeast, sounds like you need a systemic antifungal like Diflucan. I'd get a scrip for it TOMORROW (insist on it before the long weekend!).
You may have to take a break from your other meds with Diflucan...I think it interacts with some common Lyme meds. Your doctor and/or folks on here should be able to advise you on that.
