i was taking a shower this morning, i found a tick around my waist. i was able to get it all out. i have some meds here as i am actively being treated. i just finised 14 days of flagyl. i still have on hand some ceftin, doxy, tetracycline. i am also finishing a few levaquin. any suggestions. i am scared to death. i have only been going through treatment for not even a year now. i am stage two chronic lyme now. any suggestions??

If you are treating lyme already, on antibiotics then you are okay! The new bite would put the ketes into your blood first where they are easier to kill.

I would call my LLMD. The doctor might want to put you back on doxycycline to cover the new bite. Call today.

Had an attached tick on my underarm a couple of years ago that my hubby removed with a pair of tweezers.
I freaked out but had already went through Lyme and Co. treatment from 2004-2007.
Cleaned the site with alcohol and watched for a rash and any symptoms.
Thank God I didn't have any and am fine.
Also I had tons of left over antibiotics that I wouldn't hesitate to take, probably Cipro and Biaxin until checking with my LLMD if I had symptoms.

I agree to call your doctor and let him/her know.
If the tick is infected, it could have more than one infection. You may want to have it tested also.
